You can select mode of the switch according to flash type of your digital camera. For Pre-flash type of digital camera applicable (Digital camera of 2 flashes per shot).
Set switch knob at the position of 'on-off' and adjust guide number control knob as per objection. For not Pre-flash type of digital camera applicable (Digital camera of one flash per shot), set switch knob at the position of 'on', and adjust guide number knob as per objection.
